About Angelia Designs and Fig Tree Tidings

The fig tree

Angelia: messenger, tidings, news

There is a parable of a fig tree in Luke 13:6-9 that Jesus tells to His disciples. It is the story of a man who owns a vineyard with a fig tree. For three years the man visits the fig tree to look for fruit that the tree is supposed to produce. He finds none. In the third year, he instructs the caretaker to cut the tree down since it had never produced fruit and was cumbersome to the ground it was planted in. But the caretaker asked the owner to wait another year while he provided it nourishment and care, and added that he would cut it down if afterwards if it remained barren.

At Angelia Designs we created Fig Tree Tidings as our fruit for you. The Word of God is our nourishment and food for daily living. By its divine inspiration we are encouraged to live for Christ by filling ourselves with His word. You will find your relationship with Jesus Christ taking on a whole new meaning when you are nurtured and fed by the master caretaker Himself. The result is a powerful witness that changes lives and produces a fruitful harvest that edifies our Lord.

Our designs are based on God's promises, past, present and future. His promises are not one-sided on His part. They ask for a commitment or action on our part. When you read the questions inside the product card attached to each ornament, ask yourself if you are ready for the necessary action or commitment. Use the Bible study bookmark to dig further into His word and plant your roots closer to the living waters.

Be bold and courageous! Take God's Word – absorb it, share it, teach it and love it!
